如果問我：「路上觀察學是在學什麼？」我回答：「啊就是路上觀察唷！」那這個答案太籠統也太敷衍！
其實；路上觀察學就是讓我們學習從自己生活的空間裡，尋找或探索我們平常不會去注意的人、事、物，而這些東西它的背後也許有段可歌可泣、轟轟烈烈或刻骨銘心的故事讓我們去探尋，又或者它與地方的文化、民情風俗有著息息相關不可分割的歷史意義。
比如說；一提起「劍獅」大家都知道它等於是安平的象徵，它背負著歷史的延續及文化的傳承，使得「劍獅」之於「安平」，兩者有了密不可分的結合，當然；象徵性的東西不一定就是標誌，它也可以是一棵樹，比如「神木」＝「阿里山」也可能是一棟建築，如台北「101」，這些都是我們透過媒體或口耳... 觀看完整文章
