Poetry Festival

On Sunday the 17th I have been to a poetry festival in the farmland part of Tainan.
It took place in a outer part of Tainan City and started at the local temple. Most of the participants were school classes and their parents. We were guided around the area to see the local business and culture. Starting with the farming, the local specialties, the old city part, the temple and the church. Besides that we heard different kinds of poetry, even I was asked to perform a German poetry. It was a hot day but also a very diversified introduction into the culture and daily life of the local people. And not to forget: The iced tea the local sausages were awesome!
